AHRA’s online Board of Directors election closed at midnight on May 21, 2018. Thank you to those members who voted! Your commitment to the future of the association is appreciated.
Without further ado, we present the newest members of the AHRA Board of Directors:
2018-2019 President-Elect:
Christopher Tomlinson, CRA, FAHRA
Chris joined AHRA in 2007, earned his CRA in 2010, and achieved Fellow status in 2015. Since becoming a member, Chris has been an Annual Meeting speaker, part of the Leadership Institute, a Radiology Management author, Finance Director for both the AHRA and Education Foundation board of directors, and a Canon and AHRA Putting Patients First Grant recipient. Chris has played an integral role in AHRA’s corporate sponsorship efforts and is currently co-chair of the Defining Our Future campaign. Chris’s knowledge of the profession and association management will make him a strong leader.
Chris is the vice president, enterprise radiology at Jefferson Health, Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals Inc. in Philadelphia, PA.
2018-2019 Directors:
Brenda joined AHRA in 2006, earned her CRA in 2007, and achieved Fellow status in 2014. Brenda has been a Spring Conference and Annual Meeting speaker, served on Annual Meeting Design Teams, was chair of the Web Development Committee, and a chapter author for Asset Management in Radiology, 2nd edition. Brenda served on the RACC from 2015-2017, holding the office of vice-chair in her final year. In 2012, Brenda received the Award for Excellence.
Brenda is the director of imaging at Mon Health Medical Center in Morgantown, WV.
Mario joined AHRA in 2015, earning his CRA that same year. Although Mario is a fairly new member, he has been an active one. Mario is part of the Editorial Review Board and Membership Committee, a reviewer for Rapid Review, and will be a speaker at the upcoming Annual Meeting.
Mario is the director of imaging at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles in Los Angeles, CA.
Jacqui has been elected to her second term on the AHRA board.
Jacqui joined AHRA in 1995, earned her CRA in 2003, and achieved Fellow status in 2013. Jacqui has been a member of the Education Foundation Annual Appeal Committee, an author for Radiology Management, Link, Asset Management in Radiology, 2nd edition, Human Resources in Radiology, and Financial Management in Radiology, 2nd edition. Jacqui has served on the Member Development Campaign, Web Development Committee, and is currently the board liaison for the Regulatory Affairs Committee. Prior to being elected to the AHRA Board in 2013, Jacqui served on the RACC as a commissioner, secretary/treasurer, and vice-chair.
Jacqui is the director of medical imaging, telecommunications and IT at Premier Health, UVMC in Troy, OH.
The 2018-2019 AHRA Board of Directors will be formally installed during the closing session at the 2018 Annual Meeting on Wednesday, July 25, 2018.
