It’s been a tumultuous time in the healthcare industry. As leaders, our focus has been caring for our patients, protecting our staff and planning for the second pandemic; caring for the patients who didn’t get the healthcare they needed during this time for non-COVID-19 conditions. We are also tasked with re-opening strategies as our health systems/organizations are facing massive losses and the prospect of cost cutting.

While the New Year brings a sense of renewal and a chance to address the things we have been putting off, it also affords us the opportunity to refocus our efforts at work. It’s a chance to make a new start and I encourage us all to embrace the opportunity and roll out a new patient facing program or employee recognition program for the new year.
It’s Almost AHRA Board of Directors Nomination Time!

January will bring the “call for nominations” for the AHRA Board of Directors and President Elect. As the immediate Past President, I will serve as chair of the Nominations Committee and have assembled a great group of AHRA imaging leaders to review the nominations, interviews candidates, and provide the board a final group of nominees for the ballot.
