Three months to go and my time as AHRA President will come to an end. But this is not a time for slowing down. It’s go time!
No Donald Trumps, no Nancy Pelosis, just incredible leaders who want to serve unselfishly. It’s time to get out there and Rock the Vote (Do you remember that from the MTV days?). There is a ballot of great candidates for the AHRA Board of Directors and President. Kimlyn Queen-Weis and Jacqui Rose are both so worthy of becoming the AHRA President-Elect, I am so glad I am not running against them. OHIO is going to be represented for sure. The Board of Directors works hard on your behalf to ensure the mission and values of the AHRA are held to the highest standards. Your vote is so important to help shape the future of the AHRA. It would be great if there were 1000 votes cast for this election. Please take few minutes to review the nominees and click on the vote button.
We’re nine weeks out from the annual meeting and we are just slightly behind Nashville in registrations. This is shaping up to be one if not the biggest annual meeting in 10 years. Are you going to be a part of it? Please don’t come alone, bring a new leader so we can give them that AHRA family feeling. But remember, next year they will be begging to you go again. Shelley and the rest of the Annual Meeting Design Team are working to finalize the details of THE event of the year. The speakers are preparing and the keynotes are getting ready to deliver the goods. Don’t forget about the golf outing Sunday for the Education Foundation; so bring your clubs and get some of the Colorado sunshine. Make your plans early because I want to see you there. Time is flying by….it’s going way too fast!
Go on and write me up for 125
Post my face, wanted dead or alive
Take my license, all that jive
I can’t drive 55; oh no!
