Here, we warmly welcome new members, acknowledge the tenure of our most committed members, and recognize any recent successes among all members. If you would like to acknowledge a colleague, announce a promotion, or make us aware of an accomplishment please let us know.
It is with sadness that we share the news that one of our long-standing members, Jim Grosskopf, CRA-Retired, FAHRA, passed away last month. Jim joined AHRA in 1976 and volunteered in many roles including serving on the product development committee and nominations team, serving as an organizational liaison, and serving as a host for our Partners in Learning program. He became an AHRA Fellow in 1995 and a CRA in the inaugural 2002 class. When featured on the AHRA website as part of our 40th anniversary, Jim gave this advice to the next generation of AHRA members: “Continue to pursue professional relationships, participate in the association as much as possible, and contribute to the profession.” Thank you, Jim, for your years of dedication to AHRA.
