Ten #AHRA2017 Perks

Whether you’re an Annual Meeting veteran or this year will be your first, here are 10 things you might not know about AHRA 2017.

1. Win some cash!

When you’re in the exhibit hall, listen for the Hot Spot booth numbers called out over the PA system. If you’re standing in the correct Hot Spot booth, put your business card in a bowl. If pulled, you’ll win $300 cash right then and there!

2. And even more cash!

Check your conference tote bag for the Product Showcase Passport. When you’re exploring the exhibit hall during lunch, visit each booth listed inside. Once completed, turn it in to one of the designated drop off sites, and you’ll be entered to win $500!

3. Stay on track with your phone

AHRA developed a mobile app to help you keep track of all things #AHRA2017 on your smart phone or tablet including a customized schedule, maps, photos, announcements, exhibitor information, CE credits, and more. Download at: www.ahra.org/app.

4. Golf for a cause

The 2017 Imaging Classic Golf Tournament is a great way to kick off the conference, spend time in the California sunshine, and raise money for a worthy cause: the AHRA Education Foundation! Held at the Black Gold Golf Course, participants can expect a scramble format, followed by an awards ceremony and lunch.

5. Easily start a conversation

Head on over to our ribbon wall and gather the ribbons that show off your AHRA status (ribbons include CRA, Future CRA, Military, First Time Attendee, and much more!). They’re a great conversation piece and an easy way to identify something you have in common with another attendee.

6. Exhibitor symposiums can get you AHRA 2018 registration

Attend as many of the exhibitor symposiums as possible to help show them your appreciation. In return, if you attend 4 or more symposiums, we’ll enter you to win a free 2018 Annual Meeting registration (a $650 value)!

7. The Education Foundation can earn you more than just a good feeling

The AHRA Education Foundation will be selling raffle tickets for $5 each (or 10 for $20!). Prizes include a Hitachi toolkit, Apple watch, 2018 Annual Meeting registration, and more!

8. Receptions are more than a nightcap

Receptions are a time to mingle with colleagues for knowledge sharing, best practices, career connections… and socializing. Remember there are no strangers at #AHRA2017, only future friends!

9. Disney is in walking distance

Whether you’re bringing your family or you’re a kid at heart, Disneyland® Park and Disney California Adventure® are only a 20 minute walk from the Anaheim Convention Center. Contact us to purchase specially-priced tickets, including Twilight ticket options after 4 PM.
