The 2015 RACC Commissioner election ballot is now open! This year, there are three CRAs running for two RACC Commissioner positions. The results of this election will determine which candidates will join the RACC and help lead the CRA program through 2018.

All CRAs in good standing are eligible to vote and have until November 22, 2015 to cast their ballots. You can read their candidate statements below and review their full profiles on the online ballot. If you’re a CRA, please cast your vote and help determine the future of your credential!

Anna KinneyAnna Kinney, CRA, MBA
Title: Vice President of Operations
Organization: Upstream Strategies, LLC
Address: Jersey City, NJ

One of my achievements that I’m most proud of is becoming a Certified Radiology Administrator. I took the exam for personal reasons. I wanted to prove to myself that I was a highly qualified administrator.

The process is voluntary, rigorous, and those that obtain the credential are certainly at the top of their field. I hope to create awareness and promote the CRA credential so that organizations will recognize the value a Certified Radiology Administrator adds to an organization.

Title: Interim Director Imaging Services
Organization: WakeMed Health & Hospitals
Address: Cary, NC

I attended the 2015 AHRA Annual Meeting in Las Vegas and had the opportunity to attend the CRA reception. I was excited to lean that a position on the RACC was opening as I would love to be involved in furthering the development of the CRA program and awareness amongst imaging professionals.

Title: Imaging Director
Organization: OhioHealth
Address: Columbus, OH

I am interested in becoming a commissioner to help continue to grow the recognition of the credential. We are making strides towards having all radiology leadership positions have a CRA preferred designation but still have some work to be done.

I can help the RACC influence leaders around the country towards proving our part of the value equation in healthcare. I believe that the designation shows a commitment to excellence that our patients and teams deserve.

I look forward to showing the value of our credential and expanding its influence throughout the industry.
