My design team and I are excited for the upcoming 2014 AHRA Fall Conference in St. Louis, MO. The conference runs from October 28-30 and is sure to represent the spirit and energy that is the AHRA. Are you a new manager, lead, or supervisor? Seasoned manager or up and coming future leader? Either way, this conference is for you!

The conference hits the ground on Tuesday with the CRA Exam Workshop, Marketing Track, and the first day off the invaluable Basic Management Track. AHRA’s marketing director Mike Suddendorf has put together a stellar lineup of speakers for the Marketing Track that is sure to give you a few “aha” moments that you can use to enhance your department’s marketing plans. The CRA Exam Workshop is a must do for administrators preparing to take the CRA exam. You’ll learn about the test itself, topics covered, and personal pointers from fellow AHRA members who have “been there.” The Basic Track is perfect for new leaders looking to get first-hand knowledge on management skills from seasoned administrators.

After a day of marketing or CRA prep, the Advanced Track follows on Wednesday and Thursday. The speaker line-up is exemplary with topics covering IT, leadership, embracing diversity, and of course, the latest updates in coding and compliance.

The conference will be held in beautiful St. Louis at the Sheraton St. Louis City Center. The hotel is centrally located in walking distance to the Gateway Arch, Presidents Casino, and Soldier’s Memorial. St. Louis’ light rail opens up all that is St. Louis.

The 2014 Fall Conference design team includes Gara Colelli, Mark Brown, Katherine Mohr, and me. We are proud to invite you to the 2014 AHRA Fall Conference in St. Louis. Catch the spirit!
