December 2009 — The Radiology Administration Certification Commission (RACC) is pleased to announce that Enrico M. (Rick) Perez, RT(R), CRA and Jacqui Rose, CRA, MBA, RT(R) have been elected to serve on the RACC.

Rick is administrative director at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineola, NY.  Rick has actively given back to his profession over the years through contributions as a speaker and round table moderator at various conferences and events; as a part of several conference design teams, including Chair of the 2009 AHRA Spring Conference Design Team; and most recently as a co-host of the AHRA New York/New Jersey Regional Meeting. Rick has contributed to the success of the CRA credential by serving in several CRA item development roles since 2005.

Jacqui is administrative director of imaging services at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, OH where she is responsible for a hospital department and 4 satellite centers.  Jacqui has been active in CRA item development since 2006.  Her dedication to education and development in the imaging community is evident in her service on the AHRA Web Development Committee, as Co-Chair of VHA’s Radiology Director’s Council, on the Radiology Advisory Committee of her local community college, and as a volunteer at several AHRA meetings.

Both new commissioners will serve 3 year terms from January 1, 2010 to December 30, 2012.

Congratulations to Rick and Jacqui on their elections, and thank you to all the candidates and to the CRAs who voted!
